Artistic license..
I really enjoyed working on this pastel drawing of Rolo. The beautiful reference photograph I had made such a difference. I did use some artistic license with this piece. There was a large amount of blurred bluebells all over his chest and in the artwork I wanted to show all his beautiful curls. So I still included the hint of the foreground bluebells but made the artwork my own.
I have spoken on a few different blog posts regarding artistic license and this is a great example :).
