When I was asked to draw these six beautiful dogs I couldn’t wait to start them. Each portrait was A3 (11.7″ x 16.5″) in colour pencil. I was then asked to paint the same reference photographs on a large 29″ x 21″ canvas in acrylics.
Their owner has since added two more Cocker Spaniels to her family so today I have the pleasure of drawing them to :). After that I will be planning another acrylic on canvas of the two of them with a view of them being hung next to the larger painting :).
