I&#8217;ll share the process I used to draw a black Labrador. Drawing black, shiny fur like all other fur textures is all in the layering process. The way to build depth gradually with a range of techniques to get the most out of the supplies. This graphite tutorial will show the supplies I use from the pencils to the paper all of which make a huge difference with the type of portrait we&#8217;re trying to create. Have you previously tried graphite but didn&#8217;t feel the results were as you wished? This may be due to the materials and in some cases it may prevent artists from continuing to use this wonderful medium. A real shame considering just how spectacular the results can be.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If graphite tutorials are of interest I&#8217;ll make plans to create more.
