Maisey had a follow up laser treatment from her vet friend Shelley. Shelley is veterinary surgeon who has her own business offering acupuncture, laser therapy, herbal medication and much more. Her compassionate, calm and knowledgeable care is second to none.
After the laser therapy session Maisey was in a lovely deep sleep. She even slept past her dinner time! Due to Maiseys neurological weakness she compensates a lot with her front legs. As a result she does at times get muscle spasms, tightening and we have no doubt some on set of arthritis. The laser therapy really helps, breaking down the muscle tightness, reducing inflammation and therefore making her feel better. Sleeping after as she did is a good sign. The treatment encourages the release of serotonin aka the happy hormone.
