It’s not often I can share these work in progress updates. Majority of my commissions are surprise gifts so there can be some months before I can share finished portraits with you.
Bonnie’s portrait is currently at the framers and I cant wait to see photos of it on the wall.
I had the pleasure of taking Bonnie’s photo for this portrait. She has such a sweet, gentle nature and loves being fussed.
I already knew Bonnie’s parents although I hadn’t seen them for many years. One if my previous jobs I was a canine hydrotherapist for 7 years and I used to treat their dog at the time, Buddy. Buddy sadly is no longer with us. He was a beautiful Lurcher and a firm favourite at the practice.
These work in progress updates are just quick snaps taken on my phone. The final photographs of the finished portraits are under my special lights and usually taken with my DSLR which captures as much of the detail as possible.
I loved working on Bonnie’s portrait. She has such a smiley face and meeting her was lovely. She really is as affectionate as she looks – and very soft! The full time lapse of her portrait will be uploaded soon along with some real time snippets – all to my YouTube channel 🙂
