Bonnie was a real pleasure not only to draw but to photograph. In some circumstances, I am asked to take the reference photographs myself. I have a DSLR camera that captures all the detail in high resolution so I can add all that fine detail to my portraits.
The day I photographed Bonnie it was bright sunshine and very hot. I took approx 100 photographs and sent 5-10 to her owner. I like to do this so that my clients have a good few to choose from. The reference photograph chosen was my favourite out of the selection so I was really looking forward to starting this piece.
I then had the portrait professionally mounted with this double mount by my local framer. I personally love double mounts as it adds more dimension to the piece. Drawing you further in.
I have the full time lapse video coming up soon. More of my videos can be found on my YouTube channel and my Facebook page and group. I will also add some of the videos here on my blog in the next few days :).
