Lilly is pretty much done. I always enjoy drawing Spaniels. They always have such emotion and expression in their eyes its always one of my favourite things to draw.
Normally, I wouldn’t use a photograph like this to show an almost complete portrait. But, as Lilly is the first of 6 A3 colour pencil portraits I plan to photograph them all together. So I shall set up all my lighting ready and get them all properly photographed when they are finished.
I have since started and almost completed Oscars portrait. So I shall share the progress of his portrait Sunday :D.
