Charlie was one of the 6 A3 colour pencil drawings I have had the pleasure of drawing. I have just finished George which was the last of the this furry gang.
Sadly, a couple of days after starting Charlie’s portrait he passed away. He had a health condition which his owners knew would shorten his life and sadly there was a treatment. He had a wonderful happy life and spoilt rotten as all furbabies should have.
I am very lucky to be asked to draw so many Spaniels. They are the most common breed I am asked to capture. I love their expressions, their curls and their markings. Charlie is no exception and his eyes show so much character.
