Ok .. 2 days ago my blog post was mentioning I needed to draw a Robin. I wasn’t intending on drawing one this soon but I had a beautiful reference photograph to work from and couldn’t resist. I also have a winter themed Robin planned and have just about finished designing a layout from multiple references to create something entirely unique.
This Robin is drawn in pastels and I will then use some of my coloured pencils to add the finer details. The background is done with a few pastel sticks using Sofft Tools to get that soft out of focus effect.
Original will be available
Once this little guy is finished the original drawing will be available. It will be professionally mounted ready to put into a standard size frame.
