We started 2020 with a trip to the zoo. It’s a tradition me and my husband started and as long as the weather is dry we pack up the camera are head off! This year was a first for me and a trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park. It was rather cold but that didn’t stop most of the animals making the most of it.
The Rhino’s were enjoying the mud puddles from all this awful wet weather we have had the past few weeks. They were having an awesome time!
This very cute Ring Tailed Lemur was sat calmly being adored by all the young children in the walk through Madagascar enclosure. After a few minutes he jumped down and started licking people shoes!
This impressive Male Lion was making his presence known. Walking around his enclosure roaring making sure we all knew he was the boss. He shared his enclosure with 3 other females – from what I could see anyway. The females were busy sleeping despite all the noise he was making!
This trip to the zoo has enabled me to take some of my own reference photographs to use for some wildlife pieces I have planned in 2020. I can’t wait to get planning some new layouts!
