No blog posts this weekend :(. I had a rather manic weekend…
Saturday we met up with a lovely lady who did our initial home check with the Blue Cross when we took on Chico. She has 2 Shetlands which are driving ponies. The same 2 Shetlands, Tillley & Cresta, which I had the pleasure of drawing with their cart in tow.

Me and my husband were invited along to see if this is something we would like to do with our cob Chico. Chico is likely going to be a little on the smaller side for me to ride. Jack my other horse is 15.2 hands and although Chico is still a baby and has plenty of time to grow I think he would be better suited to a driving job rather than ridden.
Chico is a stunning blue roan and white cob with heaps of feather and mane. He would look absolutely stunning with a carriage or cart in tow. I am so excited to see what he has to offer over the next 2-3 years.
We have started the process of long reining which he has been a complete natural at! High hopes for this laid back baby.
