Meet Lyndell El Diablo AKA Elf 🥰🐴
I can now share with you his pastel portrait I completed a few weeks ago. Elf is almost 9 years old and his mum wasn’t intending on keeping him. She soon realised however that he was her horse of a lifetime and they have achieved some amazing things together. He has done a bit of everything including some show jumping but recently she entered him in the show ring and he only went and won it! What a star ⭐️
Elf was an absolute pleasure to capture. I sent various layouts to his owner as it was a gift for her birthday. What was lovely was she wanted the finished piece to be a complete surprise so she didn’t have any idea what the finished piece looked like before she opened it earlier today! The amazing feedback and such kind comments makes me so happy to call this my job. This A3 portrait was done in pastels on the warm grey paper colour. I added the subtle lighter shade behind and darkened the corners slightly to create a vignette effect. I would love to hear what you think of him 🙂
