I can now share with you Freddie’s portrait :). This was a surprise gift for his dad and I hear he loved it. Sadly, Freddie is no longer with us and his family miss him dearly. This portrait was commissioned so that they had something on display of him to cherish and remember him by. What a pleasure to be asked to draw him and capture that smile.
This was done in pastel pencils and soft pastels for the background. Darkened blue corners to draw more attention to Freddie. The blue was the preferred layout I sent to his mum and I think this really compliments him and brings the portrait together. I cannot wait to see a photo of him framed and on the wall which I will then share with you :).
