The next furbaby after Millie on the large acrylic painting I am currently working on is Charlie. Sadly, Charlie is no longer with us and passed away a couple of days before I started his colour pencil portrait below.
He has the sweetest expression and his owners had taken some lovely sharp photographs for me to work from. It was a real pleasure being able to capture it and I am really enjoying painting them on canvas. Seeing the difference in mediums with a great comparison using the same references for both.
