Scary times, but happy thread.

With so much going on in the world, the uncertainty and scary prospects I am so grateful for my animals and my art. Let’s fill this post with lots of happy photos of your furbabies large and small and make us all smile :D. Yesterday the weather was beautiful so we made the most of it and I took Roxy and Maisey out to sit and just enjoy the sunshine which has been greatly missed these last few very wet months. These two love nothing more than sunbathing and rolling in the grass and it made me smile. My horses and sheep are finally able to walk on solid ground rather than the muddy bog they’ve become accustom to.

When I am at my easel creating I am in my own little bubble. I can say I’m going to work for half hour and get entirely lost in my own world that I end up working for 3-4 hours. Something that at this moment in time, I am truly appreciative of.

This blog post is just to remember what we have that makes us happy and smile. This post is over at my Facebook page later today. I’d love to see photos over there on the post in the comments with photos of your furbabies <3

Maisey. My nearly 11 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She lost the use of her back legs when she was 5. Emergency surgery and very poor odds, she did it! She learnt to walk again. All be it a little wobbly at times but she did it. That makes me smile everyday <3
Roxy is our 10 year old rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I was only meant to ‘foster’ her and well that was almost 5 years ago… She never left! She is a dustbin and will eat anything… One day she ate my nans dentures the day we were going on holiday and taking all the dogs with us!!
Lexie is a 4 year old Sprocker and is totally mad at times – as all Spaniels can be. She loves cuddles and any fuss she can get. She has the biggest ears in the world and stands on them as she walks when sniffing about!
This is Bubbles. One of our sheep. She is like a dog and will do anything for food. Mugs your pockets if your not careful!
Jack is my approx 18 year old Cob cross. He has had many homes before I took him on and had huge trust issues with people. Sadly, his past wasn’t as it should have been but they live in the moment and he’s now what they would class as bombproof and totally trusting of me.
Chico is our little rescue we adopted from the Blue Cross. 3 years old and he acts like it! Mischievous doesn’t cut it and its a good job we love him because he trashes fences and has cost us a small fortunate in fencing supplies! But hes gorgeous – look at those feathers <3
