Max was one of the surprise portraits I have been desperately wanting to share with you. Max is a Thoroughbred who wasn’t quite fast enough on the track so his now mum bought him at the age of 4. Max is now 27 years old! He has the most gentlest nature. I really enjoyed working on the direct face on portrait. In the reference photo I was provided with his colour was very different. To capture his natural colouring I edited the photograph and used other photographs to get the colour as close as I could. I will share the comparison soon for you to see just how much it was changed.
