This weekend Willow went off to her new home. There were some changes that I had to make to create a portrait that was quite different to the photograph I was given.
In the reference photograph Willow had her winter coat so was a much more muted, darker brown. Her owner wanted her as she remembers her most fondly which is in summer when she has the vibrant bay colours. I had another photograph to try and use those colours but on this fully body reference. I also had to add the dapples from another photograph! So lots of customisation done for this portrait.
