🖌 Sooo.. A Golden Eagle it is! 🖌
A few days ago I shared the first update showing the background in progress :). This is the first close up bird painting I have done and so far I am loving the challenge of feathers! I may not be thinking the same when it comes to all those body feathers 😂.

As always, I try and adapt my artwork to make them unique. For this painting I have cropped it to focus more on this stunning creature and increased the colour saturation and contrast quite a lot. It looks quite different from the original reference photograph but still ensuring I capture all that beautiful detail the photographer captured so well.
