I can now share with you this super smiley, adorable and crazily cute Cockerpoo, Purdy. I had the pleasure of drawing the families cat Harley last year in colour pencils. For Purdy’s portrait her owners wanted it to look similar to Harley’s drawing so we opted for the white paper and no background but went with pastels rather than colour pencils. This was because I personally feel that pastels are perfect for fur just like Purdy’s. The curls and how they overlap with the soft colours and warm hues were perfectly suited for pastels.
