I recently had the pleasure of drawing these two in pastels. Different paper colours, same glow background effect which works really well for pet portrait commissions like this. These two paper colours, dark grey and brown are the most popular. The dark grey takes the lead and it works so well for so many different subjects, fur colourings and frame options.
