🐾✏ Dod ✏🐾

Last year I had the pleasure of drawing Dod in pastels. She is sadly no longer with us and her owners miss her so much. She was a special part of their family and wanted the portrait as a way of remembering her by. 

This 14″ x 20″ portrait was a nice size for a full body portrait. Her owners wanted a little amount of grass around her and they wanted a couple of additional elements added to personalise the portrait even more.

Dod never gave up a tennis ball unless you gave her another to swap it :). She also liked holding sticks so under her left paw her owners wants a small twig. This twig was in the original reference photo but it was not near her so her owners asked me if I could put it under her paw.
