I LOVE a challenge! First time attempting water with pastels but it was my favourite part when working on his portrait. I enjoy capturing movement of subjects anyway so creating the ripples and movement of the water was the element where I didn’t want to put my pencils down. A typical Labrador – water baby – doing what they know. I have been asked to draw many of Blue’s family pets so it was a pleasure to capture him in one to
