One of my favourite portraits to date. This handsome, very smiley German Shepherd was one that will feature as a full length German Shepherd tutorial on Patreon. I was asked to draw his eye and surrounding fur for a focus study but when I saw the photograph I couldn’t resist drawing all of him. The lighting, the contrast, his expression and his colouring all
made for the perfect portrait.
