For this portrait I wanted to focus on the lighting. It was captured beautifully on the tusks and every wrinkle of the skin. The skin texture was another element I was keen to capture. Adding as much detail as I could to each individual section. I love working on close up cropped photos so when I found the perfect photo that ticked all the boxes for the main aims of this piece I made it fill the paper.
