Buster

A few weeks ago I shared a work in progress update of Buster the Bulldog. I loved working on his portrait. It was my largest pet portrait to date and it enabled me to add even more detail achieving more realism. This has certainly encouraged me to draw more larger wildlife projects which will feature in tutorials on Patreon.

I’m planning on uploading a series of tutorials showing various aspects of this portrait. I already have the eyes uploaded to Patreon. Next up will be the short white fur on the face. Given the wrinkles this makes the fur change direction quickly so it’s vital to recreate this in our portraits. On my Patreon channel I have many full length projects but these tutorials of Buster will be bonus videos where members can implement the tips and techniques shown into their own pet portraits.
