Later tonight at 6pm I have a new video going live on my Facebook page and YouTube channel. This type of video I don’t typically share just because of the editing out all the pauses so there isn’t long gaps between me sharpening pencils, swapping colours and replying to messages.
I thought I’d share a snippet of Olivers portrait where I am working on the shiniest, glossiest part of his coat. The photograph I was asked to use for his portrait has beautiful lighting and his markings is just gorgeous!
I will apologise for the lesser quality than my full time lapse videos. I had to zoom in on the clip so the quality was reduced a bit but it shows just how I layer, how many different colours I am using and how I am using the pencils themselves to blend each layer.
I had approximately 40-50 pencils in front of me!
