‘Eagle Eyed’ * NEW *

You may have seen a couple of the work in progress updates and a video snippet on my YouTube channel of my Bald Eagle painting. Well, it's now finished and I have to say.... I WILL NOT be painting another feather for a little while. There was A LOT!I actually attempted this in colour pencil what maybe 3 years ago? I felt that the overlapping and layering of feathers would be better with paints so...

Varnished and almost ready to ship!

After leaving my recent Tiger painting to dry while I was away on holiday it was now ready to varnish this week :). I have to say... This is a very satisfying part of the painting process. The colours, contrast and depth once varnished really do finish off every painting. The best way to describe it would be.. If you printed a photo off on normal paper and then the same photo on photo paper t...

New Wildlife Piece :D

Well... While my Tiger is off drying (cannot wait to share the finished painting with you) I thought while I had my airbrush out working on a pet portrait commission I'd do the background to my next wildlife piece. I tend to do this to make the best use of having my airbrush set up. I now need to plan my next piece after this one.... 8" x 10" Acrylic on Canvas Board with Airbrush Background

Those stripes :D

You may have seen on previous blog posts and over on my social media just how much I love working in black and white. Two colours and a 2 paint brushes is all that's been used for the Tiger.
