New Wildlife Piece :D

Well... While my Tiger is off drying (cannot wait to share the finished painting with you) I thought while I had my airbrush out working on a pet portrait commission I'd do the background to my next wildlife piece. I tend to do this to make the best use of having my airbrush set up. I now need to plan my next piece after this one.... 8" x 10" Acrylic on Canvas Board with Airbrush Background

Meet Willow

This weekend Willow went off to her new home. There were some changes that I had to make to create a portrait that was quite different to the photograph I was given. In the reference photograph Willow had her winter coat so was a much more muted, darker brown. Her owner wanted her as she remembers her most fondly which is in summer when she has the vibrant bay colours. I had another photograp...

Meet Max :)

Max was one of the surprise portraits I have been desperately wanting to share with you. Max is a Thoroughbred who wasn't quite fast enough on the track so his now mum bought him at the age of 4. Betty is finished!

What can I say about this portrait.. I have adored working on Betty's pastel drawing. From start to finish its been a delight. I was able to truly make this portrait unique and one of a kind. Tomorrow, I will share the reference photo I had to work from and just how much I changed it. Used artistic license and made it my own. For now, lets just absorb how cute she is! Cat Fur Tutorial

I receive quite a lot of emails and messages over on my Facebook page from fellow artists asking for advice and mainly if I offer any kind of tuition. Due to the considerable length of time editing full length videos take its not something I have been able to consider at this time. Putting together the full time lapse videos means that I can do these alongside drawing but these slower videos ...
